Thread Viewer

The MA Thread Viewer provides a unique summary and presentation of all the content in an email thread/conversation, which reduces the email overall content to review by up to 70%. Use the Thread Viewer to remove duplicate content and accelerate review, view details about the people involved in the communications and mentioned in the discussion, edit documents and propagate coding across branches, ensure consistent treatment of document assessments across duplicate spares and attachments, and accelerate and improve the accuracy of privilege review.
Thread Viewer preliminaries
To use the Thread Viewer, run a set using the Email Threading algorithm over a saved search containing the documents to review and overlay the results. Once overlaid, go to Relativity's document collection, click a document Control ID, and select MA Thread Viewer and the set name. In order to see Thread Viewer results for a document, a document must have been included in the selected set and must have been included in the threaded results.
Otherwise, you receive the error message: This document was not included in the selected Email Threading Set.
Thread Viewer basics
The Thread Viewer appears on top of the Relativity viewer. Drag the Thread Viewer down to see the document behind it, as it appears in the Relativity viewer. The control number at the top left shows the document. The Map View represents a visual map of the email thread/conversation. It demonstrates the conversation flow and where each document is located in this flow. The Conversation View presents unique content from each email document in the conversation, regardless of inclusive status, to allow for a full review of the thread group that eliminates all duplicate content.
Thread navigation
Use the arrows at the top of the Thread Viewer to navigate from one thread to the next. Use the next set of arrows to navigate from branch to branch within a single thread.
Restricted documents
If documents are located in a restricted folder you do not have permission to access, this restricts what you can view in the Thread Viewer. In the Map View, alerts display when hovering over a node tied to one or more restricted documents. The conversation view below is disabled to ensure all restricted content is hidden from view.
