Fields

    Green (Pending)

Click to overlay the results into Relativity.

    Waiting for Queue

The set has completed running and is now waiting for the overlay queue.

    Complete

The results of this run have been overlaid into Relativity.

    Exception

Click on Exception to display the Exception modal window to show where an error occurred. File a support ticket with the details by copying and pasting the contents of the modal window. Or click Re-Overlay. A re-overlay may work if it's a temporary problem.

    View document groups

Unique document views are created for each Email Threading, Text Duplicate, Near Duplicate, or Privilege Analytics algorithm set. Navigate to these document views using  Documents > Folders then select a set with _ET_, TD_, or _ND_ from the dropdown list to change views displaying the fields relevant to the algorithms with grouping and sorting options already specified to make viewing the results easier.

    View fields in the workspace

After you run a set, navigate and view the new fields overlaid into Relativity.

    1. Select a workspace, click the three-line icon (bottom right), and select "Fields" in the Relativity Admin Workspace.

    2. Enter "ma" if this not a Relationship Identification (i.e. ET, NN, ND, or TD) result. If this is a Relationship Identification result, you can enter "ma_<Set ID #>" (for example, ma_208) to return all new fields created by this set run. To view just the fields for a single algorithm, filter on "ma_<Algorithm Short Code>_<Run #> " (for example, ma_ND_208) for Near Duplicates for set 208.
    3. Only Relationship Identification results have the set ID on the field created because you can run multiple relationship identification sets over the same documents and generate different results. For the other algorithm types, because they operate only on single documents (relationships operate on groups of documents in relation to each other), the fields that get created only do so once. However, all fields are prefaced with "MA."

Adding Relativity Objects to a document

Any field present on a People Profile that is output from the Name Normalization and Entity Analysis algorithm can be added to a Relativity document object by opening the field to associations, making the field available for all generated normalized name fields as an associative field which can then be placed on layouts, search results, etc.  For example, "MA Normalized From::Function Name" can be placed on a chart.

Use these steps to add fields from the MAPrivLog_LOG object to the document object:

    1. Log in to Relativity and select workspace with Name Normalization run over a set of documents.

    2. Navigate to the Fields tab.

    3. Change the view to "All Fields."

    4. Filter Object Type for "MAPrivLog_LOG."

    5. Click Edit for the field you wish to display on the document object.

    6. On the Field Information page, set Opent to Associations to "Yes."

    8. Click  Save. This field can now be added to a Relativity document object

    MA field types

Both field types, metadata and organizational, exist at the document level. Metadata fields contain information about the document in its original form, for example, extension, size, etc. Some fields, including those created by MA that get created during a run, are of the organizational type. For example, Custodian is not part of the original file but rather applied to the document for organizational purposes, i.e., to count the number of Custodians and list the Custodians in a report.   Organizational fields can track set membership that can then be searched on. For instance, whether a document is included in a Set ID/Algorithm Type/Document Status group (where Document Status can be Analyzed, Overlaid, Ignored, or Exception.) In MA, access these document groups by clicking the link on the MA Reports page. In Relativity, access these documents from the Documents Tab by searching or displaying the MA Sets field to view Set ID, Algorithm Type, and Document Status. For example, from a saved search or document filter, select 704/Email Threading/Ignored in the MA Sets field, then run the search to get all ignored documents for set 704, Email Threading. Another field distinction is reflexive fields with a double colon. These fields are created when an "object" field is populated regarding some other object. For example, if the results group field points to one row with all that group's results, they can be referenced and reflected back as "reflexive" fields. The last type of field is a relational field, such as the group IDs, which allow multiple documents to be grouped based on a shared ID.

    Creating charts

The new fields created for every algorithm can be used for creating views, dashboards, and layouts complete with charts, in minutes.
