People Profiles Details Panel

IN THIS ARTICLE:

The Details Panel provides in-depth information about a selected person profile, allowing users to view and edit key details. The main purpose of the Details Panel is to allow users to see key information without having to navigate away to the People Profiles screen. The panel can be accessed from the People List Page by hovering over the last column and clicking the More button. The panel will open on the right-hand side of the screen, displaying specific information about the selected person profile.

Accessing the Details Panel

  1. Navigate to the People List Page: The Details Panel is accessed directly from the People List.
  2. Scroll to the Right: Scroll all the way to the right in the grid until you see the More button in the last column.
  3. Click the More Button: Hover over the last column for the selected profile and click the More button. This will open the Details Panel for that person.

Information in the Details Panel

Once the Details Panel is open, it will display the following sections:

  • Profile Status: This section provides key details about the profile's status in the system.
    • Verified: Indicates whether the profile has been verified (Yes/No). Verification is a manual process that may be required by some contracts.
    • Normalization Status: Shows the status of the profile within the Name Normalization and Entity Analysis (NN&EA) process. For example, "Ready" indicates that the profile has been processed.
  • Name & Title: This section contains information about the person’s name and their role within the dataset:
    • Function: The role assigned to the person, such as Client, In-House Counsel, or other designations related to privilege review.
    • First Name, Middle Name, Last Name: The person’s full name as recognized by the NN&EA process or manually input.
    • Professional Suffix: If applicable, this field lists a suffix (e.g., Esquire).
    • Name Variants: Displays the total number of unique name variants associated with this profile.
    • Title: The person’s title or job designation.
    • Department: The department the person belongs to, if available.
  • Contact Information: This section contains basic contact information that may have been identified or manually added:
    • Primary Email: The primary email address associated with the person.
    • Email Domains: Lists all domains associated with the person.
    • Phone Number: The person’s phone number, if available.
    • Address: The person’s mailing address.
    • City, State, Country, Zip Code: Geographic details associated with the person.
  • Additional Actions: At the bottom of the panel, users can perform the following actions:
    • Edit Profile: This action navigates to the People Profiles page in edit mode, allowing users to make changes to the profile.
    • Details: This action navigates to the People Profiles page to provide a full view of the profile.

Editing via the Details Panel

  • Edit Profile: By clicking the Edit Profile button, users can modify key information such as name variants, roles, or contact information. Once edits are made, click Save to confirm the changes.

Closing the Details Panel

To close the Details Panel, click the X button in the upper-right corner of the panel. The panel will collapse, returning you to the full People List view.
